How can make a non-3d image spin (rotate) in powerpoint

If you mean a 3D object like you'd create in 3D Studio Max or Maya or
something, then you'll want to grab Office FX from
http://www.instanteffects.com You need the Pro version, and you'll need a
good video card to run this.

Oh, sorry. You said *non* 3D. In that case, what Bob suggested will work. In
PPT 2002/2003, you can rotate objects using the little green circle. Hover
over that until your mouse becomes a circle and then drag to rotate. Or
choose Draw|Rotate or Flip|Free Rotate and drag the handle that appears.
Draw|Rotate or Flip|Free Rotate works in earlier versions of PPT as well,
but it won't work for many images -- you'll need to rotate those in an image
editor and then insert them into PPT.

If you're trying to make a flat pix look like it's spinning, you'll probably
need to skew its proportion and perspective, and that will have to be done
in something like Photoshop.
