3rd party replacement for the shortcut bar

I've only just upgraded from MO97 to 2003 and so have just become aware of
the "hey guys jets get rid of the really useful shortcut bar" debate.

Apart from playing around with quicklaunch and toolbars is there a decent
3rd party application which mimics the old shortcut bar ?

Installing the shortcut bar from your old version mimics it the best.

Dosen't that bring with it alot of Office 97 system files ?
