4.4.5 Insufficient disk space; try again later

When I send an email it gives me the following error:

Mail could not be sent using account "email"
Explanation
4.4.5 Insufficient disk space; try again later

Error 5452

I do have 1.09Gbytes of storage space on my ibook and I never had this error before.

This could be coming from your ISP. Do you leave messages on your server?
You can use online access to check what is there.

Go to Tools/Accounts/that account/Edit/Options. Check "Allow online access".
That puts an icon of your account in the Folder List.

Click on the account
icon. You're now looking at the messages on the server.

On the error page 5452 refers to sending mass emails. However, sometimes the
same number can be associated with different errors. One of the joys of
errors.

Error 5452 or Error 5552 (when sending out mass e-mails)

"Too Many Recipients"

This error is being passed on by your mail server, because your mail
provider has a limit to how many recipients you can send to in one message.
Entourage has no limit. You should contact your mail provider to ascertain
the maximum number of recipients per message and note it. You can use the
free "Split Recipients" script to send a mass e-mail in separate mailings
automatically:
