4 page document, insert page x of y, prints page 1 of 1, 2 of 2, .

I have a 4 page document and have inserted "Page x of y" It shows page 1 of
4, etc on screen, but it prints as page 1 of 1, page 2 of 2, etc. But when I
print from the print preview screen, it prints page 1 of 4, page 2 of 4, etc.
Help! Thank you
