4 up layout

hey there,
how the heck do i format a word doc to give me a 4 up layout?
i am making invatations, and i want to print lanscape, 4 per page.
there has got to be a simple way to do this....

The short answer is: with a 2x2 table. But the easiest way to get such a
table (without margin warning issues, etc.) is to use a "label" definition
for such cards.

1. Go to Tools | Letters and Mailings | Envelopes and Labels.

2. On the Labels tab, click Options.

3. In the Label Options dialog, "Avery standard" will probably already be
selected for "Label products"; if not, select it.

4. In the "Product number" list, scroll down to "3263 - Post Card" and
select it. Click OK.

5. Back on the Labels tab, click New Document. This will give you a sheet of
the cards. They're set up as a table, so make sure you have table gridlines
displayed (Table | Show Gridlines) so you can see the label boundaries.

This label definition produces a landscape 4.25" x 5.5" card. For a portrait
invitation the same size, use "5845 Note card."
