My computer recently froze while trying to remove Office xp for a complete
install. Now every time I try to open outlook, excel, word, IE, I get a
message requesting to install the cab 512060.msp and the programs wont run
either. Trying to run the install program only yields dialog stating there is
no install source. Running updates from the microsoft site either gives an
error or an "expected version not found"message. Apparently, when doing any
install operations Office looks for these cab files to determine the current
install status.
Any ideas would be greatly welcome.
