550 Sender verify failed

I get that message right away when I'm trying to send a message using
Outlook 2000 (with Exchange 5.5 SP3). I've checked with eventid.net and
microsoft and haven't found anything for that particular error message.
This only hapens with one or 2 email adresses.
Could it be a DNS problem or something?

You probably just need to turn on authentication to your outgoing server.
You can do so on the "Outgoing Server" tab for your mail account.

The mail server is Exchange 5.5

Sorry, I misread your earlier message. Are you the Exchange admin? If so,
you might want to ask about that error message in an Exchange group -- I'm
not familiar with it in an Exchange setting. If you're not the admin, I'd
ask the admin
