553 Error (re rcpthosts # 5.7.1) on Sending

Jannoth

I've been happily using Outlook via POP3 and SMTP for some
years, with (almost) no problems. Until now.

I can't send emails anymore and get the error summarised
in the subject heading of this message. I've tried
changing various settings under "login authorisation"
(about requiring authentication etc). I'm going mad
relying on webmail. Can anyone help please?

I'm using Windows XP and Outlook 2002 and most strangely
can think of nothing that has changed.

Hi Jannoth,
Please enable SMTP authentication

For Mail Box properties in Outlook Express, select "My outgoing server
requires authentication"
