I can recv.emails from an hotmail address but I can't reply or send to one.
I get the message 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed
rcpthosts. Any help on solving this problem?

Hi,
It seems that the smart host is not open relay for you.
Ask your ISP for open SMTP smart host.
Use the IP address in brackets in the smart host settings, it's more
reliable

You probably need to authenticate to your outgoing server. Set that up on
the "Outgoing server" tab for your account.
