Could someone please tell me how to fix the above error.
It is telling me that access is denied as my
username/password is not recognized on the domain. I
have posted this question somewhere else but cannot find
it. Thanks.

You really need to give a bit more information...what
application are you using, version etc...
But, if I was you I would log onto webmail with my account
to make sure you're using the right information...then
deleted my account in my respective application, then re-
add it...

Sorry I was not specific with the above issue. I had
installed microsoft office 2000 premium onto my laptop.
I am running windows xp home. For my email program I used
microsoft outlook and when I tried connecting, the error
691 came up. But...I have now fixed that problem after
going through my dialup settings. I knew it was not me
typing the username/password wrong because it did not
prompt me to do so. After toggling around a bit with the
dialup properties, options, i had to check the box for
prompt for username and password. This seemed to have
worked. I can connect now with ms outlook. After
searching the net about the above error code, none of it
seemed to help as it mainly concentrated on the
username/password not being typed properly or to delete
the *.pwl files (which i didn't have any)and restarting.
Or the modem was not compatible, this especially so with
HP. So, if anyone else comes across that problem, check
the dialup settings.

Cheers.
