7 pages are gone where did they go?

Please help... I was typing an Academic Guidline Cataloge - I had 10 pages
finished... attempted to copy and paste a table online and insert... a
pop-up came up and said Word had stopped working... diagnose and close or
close... I checked diagnose and close... went back into the guide - only 3
pages... where are the other 7 pages? Have I lost them? How can I find them?

Check your setting for "Always make backup" in your Word preferences. If
that was turned off, then yes, you have lost them.

If it was turned on, then the "Backup of..." file in the same folder as the
original document contains the document as it existed when you previously
saved it.
