7 Word> Insert> Symbols

Bought in 2006, the academic edition of the "Microsoft Office Standard
Edition 2003" with a given key.
How come it is relatively easy to change the formulas.
Then came the "Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007" that I bought in fnac
on 29/07/2008.
Is much worse (instead of being almost direct).

In Word 2007, you can still insert an equation with the Microsoft Equation
3.0 utility that was used in Word 2003, by selecting Object from the "Text"
section of the Insert tab of the Ribbon and then select the Microsoft
Equation 3.0 item.
