Dear All,
I would like to appear for MS project Certification. I have no previous
experience in MS Project. I have very long experience in managing many IT
Projects.

I have the following questions, could someone answer ?

1. I would like to get some detailed information about the exam like
a) What is the duration of the exam ?
b) How many questions will be asked ?
c) Is it multiple choice questions or essay type.
d) How much prep time is required of an average ?
e) What is the most popular study material I should follow ?
f) How do I ensure that I am ready for the exam ?

Hello kasi,

I'm not sure I understand. You asked for information about the exam
and I posted a site to Microsoft's information about the exam. It
is not a commercial posting but merely a website that has answers to
your question.

"http://project.mvps.org/" don't have any information relevant to my
question, I felt that you are advertising your web site not addressing my
question.


Any way, I am only interested in answer to my questions, don't like to get
side tracked.
Never mind. Looks like there is some communication gap. Let us stay focussed
on my questions.

Just so you know, people (and it's people, not computers) here are NOT
Microsoft. People who chose to help others will do their best and when
a link to a web site appears to be something that will help, that's what
they will do.

I'll now try to help you. Go to the organisation with whom you will
sign up to take the exam and find out from them the answers to your
questions. They will be the best source of information.

As Mike said, please re-read my original reply -- the URL at the top
of my message (above my name) was a link to the best source of
information about Microsoft's exam -- namely Microsoft. Once again:
