"81" issue

Hello

one strange thing happened on my powerpoint report yesterday. i was
rushing to do some charts and tables for my boss. When i was checking
the charts, i found that some figures on the charts were changed to
"81" automaticly. Those "81" should be 7.8, 8.0 or 739.
So werid. i tried to delete the data and add them again, but no use.
those 81 will shown on the charts ramdonly. So crazy!

i tried my report on another computer. it was still the same.

Have you guys ever meet this problem before?? How come it is shown
like that?

Run diagnostics. That has fixed it in the past. It's in Office button | PPT
Options | Resources...

Click the Office Button, then PPT Options at the bottom, then the Resources
button, then the button next to "run diagnostics." Then just follow the
prompts there.

Oh, interesting. I've never seen or heard of this issue in 2003.

Try running Detect and Repair. It's on the Help menu in 2003.

Look herehttp://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/HA101828951033.aspx
I use 2003 version. Seems that this button is designed for 2007 .
