I have several databases that were created in '97. They all import a
text file into a table, open that table as a recordset, loop through
the recordset and perform various calulations, writing those results
to one or more fields in the table. All of them worked perfectly well
in '97.
Since the upgrade, they randomly fail with an error that indicates
that a record is locked. The databases are on a network, but I am the
only user.
