97 Win 2000 Options causes crash

Hi everybody,

having installed Office 97 on Windows 2000
platform, trying to access Extras, Options,
causes Excel to crash, without exception, it seems.

Anybody has a remedy for this?

Are you fully patched on XL97 this was fixed in SP2 I think

Hi Nick,

didn't think of that, as on a similar machine,
without service packs there are no problems.
But what is similar ?
