98SE not Shutting Down after running Outlook XP

Win98SE will not shutdown after I have been using Outlook from Office XP
Pro.
The shutdown process stops at the "Windows is shutting down" message.
I know there are shutdown issues with Win 98SE. (I have the Win98SE
shutdown supplement patch installed after earlier problems) However the
Shutdown Hangs occur only after running Outlook.
Is this a known issue?
More important has anyone any helpful advice?

Interesting Mike, I am having the same problem with
Outlook 2003 and windows 98. the only thing that sometimes
works is to shut all your programs down and leave it at
least 1 minute before shutting down the computer. It
doesn't always work but lets Outlook shutdown properly.
