_NEC DVD_RW ND-2500A driver

Can anyone help me?! I have an NEC DVD_RW internal drive installed on my
Compaq Presario computer. I just installed new firmware for it, but since
then, my computer says that I have new hardware installed & won't recognize
the DVD drive. I've searched everywhere on the internet trying to find
updated drivers for it (even NEC's website!) with no luck. If anyone has any
suggestions that can point me in the right direction, I'd greatly appreciate
it.

You should post in a hardware-related newsgroup, as this is not related to
Microsoft Office programs.
