_program close error saving any style sheet - help please

Problem statement:

After launching FP and opening the local image of the web currently
available online using www.oldinsulators.com I edit the style sheet
main-style.css and try to save it. When I click save there is an hourglass
pause and then the "Sending Error Report" dialog appears.

I have attempted to edit the style sheet manually and through the FP GUI
with the same result.

I have asked FP to create a brand new stylesheet and tried to save it empty
amd with only one simple expression in it and all attempts result in what
appears to be the same error.

Following the submission of the error report, the application closes and the
style sheet is not updated with the changes.

Any suggestions?

Now I have additionally learned that the problem is a result of a C++
runtime error - Abnormal Termination during the save process...
