The above folder exists in my root directory and in the directory of my
images. I realyze that this is some sort of system folder, but is it
necessary? I created two different webs, intended for a CD HTML based help
system and I would love to get rid of them. They are only going to confuse
the user.
Thanks,
Christopher

Then publish the web to another folder, then you can delete all _vti folders
from the web, do NOT remove them from current web folder, if you want to
continue using FP to maintain it.

Step 1: Publish the initial files to a "source" web and have FP maintain it
there.
Step 2: Publish the source web to a target folder
Step 3: Delete the _vti folders on the target web/folder.
Step 4: Burn the CD from target web.
Correct?
Thanks

You can leave the web in it's current folder, and just publish it to a
folder which you burn the CD from after deleting the _vti folders.
