_vti_cnf corrupted. Cannot backup Frontpage. What can I do?

Trish

I make a backup of the Frontpage website just in case my computer goes down.
I have done this for a couple of years. The website is uploaded weekly.
Last week I got the error message
_vti_cnf corrupted. The backing up stopped. I cannot now make a backup of
the website. I use FrontPage 2000.
What can I do?
If I buy FrontPage 2003, will I havd to redo the Website?

How are you backing up? You should just publish the site to another location via FP.

The live site on my hard drive. It doesn't seem to affect the site on the
server because everything still seems to work. I don't know how it became
corrupted.
Thank you for replying.

I save the whole site on to a memory stick and then save it on to my computer
at home as a backup. I do this with all my work. So if my office computer
is stolen or goes down, I have a complete replacement on hand.
Thank you for replying

Try publishing to the memory stick, then when you get home, open the web in FP, then publish to the
final location on your HD.
