They shouldn't be
- Unless you somehow made your hard drive your root web (C:\) in FP by selecting the C:\ as the location for your FP Web
If you did you will have major system problems!
Open FP and File Open Web (or File Recent Webs) to open the location of your disc based web
IF it just show C:\, the right click the Root and select Delete
WARNING!!!!!!
READ THE SCREEN CAREFULLY
Select the Option To Just remove FP web information from the web
If you select the wrong option you will wipe out your hard drive!
