You can use two kinds of quotation marks. Standard quotation marks are
straight up and down and look the same at the beginning and the end of a
quotation. Professionally published documents use "curly quotes"which use
separate marks to signal the beginning and end of the quotation. By
default,Word automatically inserts the correctcurly quotewhen you enter a
single or double quotationmark;because the program is intelligent enough to
tell the difference between openingand closing quotation marks, this feature
is called "smart quotes". I hope this helped you SueBee. I JUST got
done reading bout this and thought I'd pass it on to you . Christine
