A board for off topic discussions.

I wasn't really sure where to put this since it sort of applies to all of the
boards here. I decided just to put it here, since I spend most of my time
here. I think it would be a good idea to add a board for off topic
discussions. Okay, okay, I know we all come here because we have questions
(or answers) related to Microsoft products. Still, I think a lot of folks
would use the board if it existed. I mean, why not take a break just once in
a while from asking or answering tough questions? It would be cool to be able
to discuss all sorts of things with the nice people you meet on these boards.
Yes, I know there are plenty of message boards on the Internet for that kind
of stuff, but I still think it would be a good idea here too.

USENET has tens of thousands of newsgroups, the vast majority of them on
topics other than Microsoft software. I suspect Microsoft would refer you to
one or more of those for "off-topic" conversations. You can find newsgroups
with subjects of just almost anything of interest to you.

I know that. I said that. I'm just saying that it would be kind of nifty to
have a board right here so that the folks of these newsgroups can get to know
each other a little better. If you choose any other random newsgroup, chances
are not many (or maybe none at all) of the folks from THESE newsgroups would
be there. My point was getting to know folks here.
