A different kind of MSP trial problem...

I had installed MS Project earlier this year to test out. One thing led to
another and I never got around to testing it, so it expired. I uninstalled
it.

I download the trial again recently and install it and it says that the
trial has expired and closes immediately.

Full Text Error Message: "This trial copy of Microsoft Office Project 2003
has expired. For more information about Microsoft Project, please visit your
local reseller or see our World Wide Web site at www.microsoft.com/project/."
OK

I tried the REGEDIT reset trick, but even the FAQ says if the time has
expired it won't work. And it doesn't. I don't feel that it is an
unreasonable request to be able to reinstall the trial if I had installed it
prior. The counter should reset itself for another 60 days. Heck, give me an
abbreviated counter of 30 days for the second install.

My company isn't going to OK the purchase if I can't show some practical
examples.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thnx.

I'd like to also point out that I tried reinstalling it... as well as
re-downloading it, with no change in outcome.

The reason is, I think, that they want to prevent someone from getting
around purchasing MSP by the expedient of reinstalling the eval version
every 60 days. You can reformat, as Sameer suggested, or perhaps just use a
different computer. The regular version of MSP is also in the MSDN library
if you or your company has an MSDN Universal subscription.
