What am I doing wrong? I want to save work from Excel and
Word on a 3 1/2 floppy on my "A" Drive. When I try to
open my folders up, I cannot read the files. Am I saving
my work wrong? Am I supposed to save it as my documents
first? I appreciate any help!

Hi cee cee,

We've learned the hard way -- as you have -- that saving or opening
Office files directly on a floppy disk is a Bad Thing that frequently
leads to document corruption. ALWAYS save new documents to the hard
drive, and copy them from there to the floppy if necessary. ALWAYS
copy documents from a floppy to the hard drive and open/edit them
there.
