Hi, all
I have some questions:
1. How can i change by code the name of a field (e.x. text3).
2. How can I find by background processing the ID of an external task that
reflects the ID in the external project?

Hi,

For 1) try recording a macro of you editing the title of the field. The
recorded macro will answer your question

For 2) You would need to open the other file, then read the data for the ID
you have. I think the file The file path and name should be part of the
predecessor and successor fields.

Rod,
For question 2), no need to open the external file. The external task ID
is listed as part of the external path in the Predecessor and Successor
fields.
