A general question.

Maybe this is not the right place to put this question
but I will try anyway. I have been asked to investigate
the following: management has asked me to look for a way
to develop some sort of document, html, word, other..
that will allow users who are not connected to our LAN to
enter a procurement request. The procurement request
would then be sent to a public folder and then the
variables in the document should be read and transfered
to an ACCCESS database. I know ths sounds almost
impossible to do but this would be an enormous
achievement it this would be possible. Thanks for any
help or directions.

If there's no LAN, how are users going to get this request to the public
folder?
Internet?
E-mail?

Eric,

The computers that are off-line, at some point, would need to connect to the
LAN to upload data. Otherwise, how is the data going to traverse (go)
anywhere? Or the data from the off-line computers would need to be saved to
some kind of removable storage.

If you are talking about something like an off-line laptop that eventually
connects to the LAN. Yes, you can upload data directly into an Access
program.

Best regards,

Todd
