A HUGE GAP

I am making a menu for my website... The menu is a .jpeg and the body is a
table (1cell) but they are not lining up? a gap in between them..

I think you should post a link to the test-website so that people can
see the source code to advice you better.

I agree.

However I wonder whether the gap may be just that between an <a> tag and the
next element, which appears to be a table. Perhaps the <a> tag can be placed
in a table cell
