I have powerpoint XP, and I want to know if there is a hotkey for showing
current slide (not first slide) as full screen.

Hi,

Not really in XP. In 2003, you can go <Shift + F5> to show the current
slide. But in XP, you can hit F5 (which runs the show), and then type the
slide number, followed by <Enter>. That will take you to the number of the
slide you typed in. This is a feature I imagine a lot of people asked for,
and we got it in PowerPoint 2003 <g>.

Not a key per se, but there is the tiny little screen(?) icon
in the lower left hand corner (3rd one in, just above
the draw toot) that will display the full current slide. And if
you have the custom animation or slide transition task pane open
there's a big button in the lower right hand corner.
