Hi,
If someone has a moment can you go to http://www.bookhead.co.uk in Netscape
4 and tell me what happens. I can't get the site up atall - comes up fine in
IE & Netscape 7. My internet connection has been acting up all day so not
sure if its the site my connection or my copy of NN4 that's to blame. If you
do get the site up bear in mind I'm working on it now so it will look a
total mess in NN4.

Thanks

Thanks Stefan, got the screenshot. I still can't get to it atall in NN4 -
comes up fine in other browsers, going to try re-installing NN. The site's
finished as far as modern browsers are concerned just need to get some NN4
support into it. From the screenshot looks like I have some work to do :)
Kinda difficult when i cant view the site though!

showed up form me in ns4.04. it's a little out of whack probably due to the
style sheet(s). but it's still usable.

Is it possible that it's because
NN4 doesn't recognize the CO(2) file extension??

J

Jon Spivey

do you mean co.uk? Thats the extension for uk sites - all browsers are fine
with it. I tried re-installing NN4 and then downloading a fresh copy - still
cant get the site up in NN4 locally or on the web, no idea whats wrong but
I've wasted enough time trying to figure it out. I'll put some work into the
site then come back and hopefully one of you guys can send me another
screenshot.

Uh, uh.
I tried to view source and it wouldn't open
in notepad or WordPad, just did nothing.
Sooooooo I went into the cache files to
dig it out and there's no html page there.
Just a link to the site which displays a CO(2)
file extension.!!
( and the images, js. and css file and a cookie )

I have no problems w/ source in NN4.79

Ok, I still can't get the site up in NN4 atall either locally or on the
web - obviously something amiss at my end. Started by re-installing NN4.08
then downloading a fresh copy of 4.08 then downloaded 4.79 none of them
could view the site. Done a bit to the NN4 stylesheet working from Stefans
screenshot. Could somebody take another look in NN4 please if you could mail
me a screenshot too that would be great. View the site in IE/Netscape 7 etc
to see what it should look like....not going to get close to that but I want
it at least usable in NN4

Thanks,
Jon

Sent you another screen shot (NN4.79)
Better but still too tight for readability

Hi,
nice of you to say so Craig, but I've seen better looking dogs dinners :)
I'm trying to get it looking half way decent in NN4 now.

Thanks to everyone that helped me out with this - I appreciate it
