A Real Enterprise Calendar

Scenario: My Large organisation is using Project Pro and EPM to manage Matrix
based Project Management meaning that the PM is not directly responsible for
staff Vacation and other project responsibilities.

I want to find a method for the Enterprise Calander in EPM to obtain
resource availability from individuals Exchange/Outlook calander and use this
to update project resources if a user say books 2 weeks vacation.

I have been looking at Free/Busy service etc but all this seems to rely on
the user 'pushing' their schedule out to the net or specific servers.

All thoughts welcome.
