Hi,

Just a suggestion... can we have a seperate section in the newsgroup for
latest version discussions (ie., 2007)?

I dont think that this would be sensiable. One point of access I believe is a
smarter way. You can of course entere the version in the subjects

I'm not so concern about getting my own 2007 specific posts answered. I
don't think it would make much difference if I included "2007" in the subject
line or not in such a case. The newsgroup has been pretty good to me in all
that I sought help for, 2007 related or not. I am currently interested in
following up the 2007 specific discussions/ issues. With all that a "new
release" brings, I just thought that it would be good idea--popular and of
general interest for those that people who are upgrading, migrating,
evaluating/ comparing, etc...

I guess I will have to continue doing my seaches using "2007" and continue
doing it for each of the "3" (not "1") access points... Server, General, and
Developer : (

PS... I should clarify ... I meant a different section in the MS Project
newsgroup and not a whole different newsgroup apart from this one. Is this
what you understood?

I can see the benefits and yes it would be nice to search for "Project Server
Versions". As long as it is in the same newsgroup . I dont think we should
have different newsgroups per version. ( that's what I understood your
initial suggestion was). :)

I fully agreed that searching by project server versions would be beneficial
to all but I think we should have a separate newsgroup for project portfolio
server.
