a strangely Problem

[No Task in Views]

Hi everybody..
In out compony we use MS Project 2003 with Project Server. One of our
projectmanager has published a project. It can be senn in web access. But
wenn we try to open it in MS Porject Professionel, we can not see the tasks
(in no view).
Be get such an error message: (sorry for the trasnlation)

"computations cannot be accomplished . Circle purchase in task 151 auxiliary
masks to page driving profile of “ProjectXXXâ€. The successors of this task
refer predecessors on the same task or its. In order to remove for the circle
purchase the responsible person linkage, you mark both causing procedures and
click afterwards on the Standardsymbollyste on the switching surface
“linkages of procedure removeâ€. "

As far as I unsderstand, the pm has made an error with connection of tasks.
But how will avid that problem, as long as I see nothing (no tasks) in any

No Task,
Since this is a Project Server question, you will probably get a better
response if you post to our sister newsgroup,
microsoft.public.project.server. This newsgroup is dedicated to the
stand alone version of Project.

Using the original schedule created on the PM's workstation, edit the tasks
to confirm all tasks show predessors and successors in unique
relationships....not in circular fashion where task X shows task Y as a
successor while another successor task to task X shows task Y as a
predessor...

Delete all links to and from summary tasks, that should eliminate any
circular relationship.

Hi,

You're right, that is not possible :-(
All I can think of is make a local copy and send it to me maybe in an other
environment I can make the tasks visible (?? no guarantee!)

I found a solution.
I saved the proeject local. Then I createt a new project and importet the
project which was locally saved. Now I can see all tasks and repair them..
