A03- Set report to print in 2 columns, but solution just repeats the left column's data in the right

Hi,

I don't know where I've gone wrong, but I created a report and then
changed in page setup to get columns, as I found by googling.
Although the report now does, indeed, come out in 2 colunns, it's
repeating the same data from column 1 in column 2.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thx.

Well, darn. Did it again. I think I've just answered my own
question. And it happened by mistake. I had manually created the
"columns", supposedly. I had 2 repeating fields on the line. When I
deleted the second to make some changes to the first and when into
print preview, I saw that the 2 columns happened even if I had only 1
column displayed, supposedly.

So in design view the part that shows the record information, i.e.,
not the header, footer or grouping line, it looks like I'll only get
half a report as only the left side of the space has anything in it.
Yet because I'd set the page to print in 3 columns, it shows it as
that in the print preview.

Awesome. Something else new to me that I've found an answer to.

Thx in advance for any help that might have been given <lol>. Time to
close this db down now, though. Several hours and many things
resolved, time for a break.
