When I convert a A97 mdb file on another users machine
(they have A2K) I also make a change in Tools--Ref--MS DAO
3.6 Obj Library (formerly DAO 2.5/3.5 in A97). Then save
the change, compile the DB and all is well. However, the
next time the user tries to convert 'another' A97 mdb
(same setup, more data) They have to repeat this exercise
with the References all over again. I made the change
ONCE on my pc for this identical process and never had to
touch the References again when downloading/converting.
Why won't the settings in References save for my user???
