Hi, Tina. I will look into what you suggested and see if that will work
better for me. Also, went and looked at your site...who do you use for your
merchant account? Are you able to use Front Page to design your online store?
Thanks,
Hi Kelli
I use FrontPage 2003 to design the pages with topstyle pro (there is a free
lite version ) for the css. I used paypal online button maker to make the
code for a button then just changed details for each one in the code view. I
used the free
http://www.mals-e.com/ cart in conjunction with paypal for
certain aspects of the cart coding. I don't have a merchant account, there
is no need for it, no need to layout money, selling art is a hit and miss
affair I want to maximise every chance, so the concentration is on seo
(search engine optimisation) rather than using a cart that makes pages for
me and takes away seo on the page files and other factors (there may be a to
buy cart that does everything but I've not found a free one).. the mals-e
cart while free is back end and so allows me to make a page for each piece
of art and a index page for the gallery it's under... I used Photoshop to
set it up because it makes the pages and it also does the big and little
pictures (i.e. thumbnails) however there is not quite enough control there
so I just used it to make the pages for me which saved me a little time and
I tweaked each photo in image composer, impact 6 and paintshop pro 7 for
varying different aspects of each program ....
But basically I used FrontPage to insert everything into and publish.
