Able to open Word but unable to open documents, HELP!?!

I've uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2003, installed all updates, and Word
still will not work. Can only get to files through Start menu but cannot
save documents. No error messages at all.

I have been having the same problem since 4/16/06, I tries to save my
document and work kept getting locked up. I complete updates and reinstall,
but still not able to save document.
