about Left, right, and mid

I am running Office XP on my machine but i have another
machine that has Office xp sp2 and will not allow me to
use the left, right or mid functions.. Does anyone know
of a way around this??

It sounds like your references are improperly set. Check
Tools References (from any code module) for the two mdbs and
you should be able to spot the discrepencies.
