Was the macro something you created? Where was it stored? In the same
workbook you use it? In your Personal.xls workbook??

Macros are stored in workbooks. You need to know where you stored it in
order to retrieve it. If you use it on various workbooks then you
probably stored it in Personal.xls. Search for Personal.xls, open it
and see if you can find your macro.

Since macros are stored in files then they would disappear if the file
is deleted. Did you search for Personal.xls? Also, if you recorded the
macro the default storage location is the same workbook you recorded
it in. If you can recall which workbook that was then you may be able
to find it.

Sorry I can't help you out more.
