About Office XP 'Professional'

I have been recently given a copy of 'Office XP Professional with Front Page'
which for some reason does not include Publisher 2002.

My first question is what app's are supposed to be part of the
'professional' version? My disc has word, excel, powerpoint, outlook and
access plus the aforementioned frontpage. As I want to create my own website
with various types of information/data and images and music etc, as well as
possibly links to other sites, (I have no idea even where to start on this
subject), I would like to know if there are any tasks that are usually
performed using 'publisher' that cannot be performed using a combination of
the other app's that I have got already (I also have Works Suite 2005, and
Roxio Easy Media Creator v7)

I have searched for copies of and specs on 'office xp pro' and some results
have come up with office xp pro variously having the original four 'standard'
app's plus only one other - access - and sometimes also either front page OR
publisher, but not both. In view of the age of this office suite and the
difficulty in find a 'standalone' copy of publisher 2002, my second question
is will it offer any functionality that I can't get with the app's I have
already, and if it does offer 'extra functionality' will I really need this
anyway? I cannot afford any of the 2003 versions of office.

I have also searched for 'tutorial/training discs' and the only ones I can
find at affordable cost, are from BVG, but although these are described as
covering Office 2000/XP/2003 they do not include tutorials for front Front
Page OR Publisher - they do include tutorials for 'Windows' and 'Typing',
however neither of which I am in need of.

Any help and advice greatly appreciated,

Thanks in advance

Don't use Publisher for web design.

I have to agree with Mary and Rob. If you want to work on websites and have
FrontPage, DO IT! Please don't use Publisher for that. Yes, it can be done
but it's primary purpose is not web design. You can do web design with Word
as well. Doesn't make that the proper tool either.

(Yes, I use FrontPage for web design.)
