About Per-session cokkies (Project server 2002)

U

Urban Chow

I install MS project 2002 server and MS project
professional. I used IE6.0 SP1.

After Installation, I have the following error:

You cannot be logged on because your security settings in
Internet Explorer do not allow per-session cookies.
Enable per-session cookies, and try to log on again.
(5011)

I tried to enable the per-session cookies.
And I add the domain site to security zone.

But I already display the above error.

Please help me to crack this problem.

Thanks

I have seen this error with a client before and it is typically caused by using a "-" (dash) in the name of the server. Ex. if your server name is SERVER-PRJ and you access project web access by http://SERVER-PRJ/ProjectServer, you will most likely get the error you described. Client was not able to upgrade IE at the time so we renamed the project server to exclude the dash.
