About Resource Usage view

Why are some (actual) hours marked with red color? Also there values are very
strange - they are broken numbers! But why? Nor PM nor user enter such
values, just integers.

Projects that are not currently open may show red Actual Work values. When
you open those projects, the red will usually go away. This is is
oversight, I believe, in how the Resource Usage view should show data for
projects that are not currently open. Hope this helps.

What do you mean by "Projects that are not currently open"?!? How can I see
anything if I dont open the proejct in MS Project Prof?!?!

Also why are the red hours broken numbers??? Nor PM nor user enter such
values, just integers.

When you open a project in Microsoft Project Professional, the Resource
Usage view shows the following for each resource:

1. All tasks that the resource is assigned to in the current project
2. All tasks that the resource is assigned to in other projects,
represented by a single line for each other project

Take a look at the red numbers. Are they from other projects? If so,
please reference my original explanation. If not, please explain further
what you see. Let us know.

No Dale, those red broken numbers are not from other project but from the
project that I`ve opened. Why this happen?

Another q-n is why some of the work hours numbers are broken? Nor PM nor
user enter such values, just integers.

For ex I`ve entered my vacation in Admin Project as 8hours*10 w.days = 80
hours. Now when I look at it it see 8.03h*5 w.days = 80.3h
BUT WHY?!?!? MS Project is living it`s own life! He does what he wants and
even don`t notify the user-PM!
