about to change in schedule of project plan

Hi,

1st Problem:

when i need to change in project plan all changes are need to back its
initial state because when it displays a message about to synchronize with
protected actuals with time sheets and my changes in project plans will lost
..

pls tell me how i can change the project plan with protected actuals.

2nd Problem:

The user is entering hours in their timesheets but when i out the report
through project professional the values or users are in decimal.
its a big hurdle for me

pls tell me the solution how i can resolve it

If you are trying to extend a task (i.e. reschedule incomplete or remaining
work you will get the message that you may affect actuals and to resync.
That's no problem and you will not lose your changes. You can use the
reschedule command in tools or just extend the task by altering the duration
or dragging the bar.

If you are trying to reschedule a complete task and it has actuals you will
get in trouble and the resync will nullify your changes.

Also note that if a task has remaining work and you try to declare it 100%
complete the resync will not respect the 100% complete and it will likely
mess your plan up. You have to zero out remaining work before making the task
100% complete.
