About Using Barcode readers

hi,i was wondering if you know how to use barcode readers in Access
Applications such as cashier application and if i need to deploy any special
procedure or code to use that or there would be the third party(vendor's)
driver needed ?

The manufacturers of barcode readers usually supply the necessary drivers,
and often supply coding examples for Access/VBA
