Absolute colors in Excel

hi,

Sometimes it happens, that colours I use in my workbooks do not matc
colours that I get on different computer. I think the reason for thi
are different systems and different versions of Excel on computers.

Is theere any way to make sure that the coulors on charts and in th
worksheets will be absolutely the same doesn't matter the platform yo
use?

Thanks,

The Workbook's colour palette is defined within the
workbook, so if you view copies of the file in different
systems you should see the same colours, unless you
subsequently customise them. However the "Automatic"
colours for fill and font, typically white and black, are
determined by monitor display settings.

Another possibility might be if High Contrast is enabled
in Control panel / Accessibility options.

If above does not answer your question, could you be a bit
more specific as to which colours appear differently (be
sure you are looking at identical copies of the file in
different systems).

Regards,
Peter

Peter,

Thanks for your answer.
The problem is about the only one cell fill that on mine computer i
blank (without any filling) whereas on my client's: green.
So, from my point of view, situation is rather strange. I tried t
track whether we open same files etc. but found no mismatches
Moreover it is rather impossible than I or my client would customiz
blank filling with a green....

Strange for me, that shy ing.
