Absolute total reinstall to get colors back

Ed Henninger

Hi:

Having some problems with MS office on a new MacPro with Snow Leopard.

Specifically, I can't get text colors to change and I need to have that
capability because I often do threaded messages with clients. Oddly, the
same problem doesn't exist on my Mac laptop.

Is there a file/pref/whatever that I need to trash? If so, great.

Otherwise, I am willing to do a complete wipeout of MS Office on the MacPro
and start over again (saving my Entourage files and such, tho).

Please advise one of two things:
1. Files I can trash to bring back colors.
2. How to completely wipe the slate clean and start over.

Thanks to all for your help.

What text are you trying to change? Text within E-mail? Have you tried
using Format menu --> HTML?

Yes, using HTML.

I tried the Format menu...and it works! Thanks. The thing that didn't work
is using the little drop-down menu in the tools area.

While I have you...I¹ve also noticed that the print option for my calendar
no longer gives me the choice of how to print...no more choice between Day
Timer, list, etc. Thoughts on that?
