Academic Edition installation/activation limit

I have an office standard academic edition program. On how many computers
could I install it? My computer tends to crash, so does the limit change over
time? I think the home and student edition could be installed on three
computers at a time, and another one every 90 days, so is the AE like that
too?

I don't know where you heard that 90-day thing but it's three systems,
period. The first thing I would suggest is that you find out why your system
is crashing so often. There's no reason to have to constantly go in and
reinstall Office.

As for how many computers, you need to read the MSLT
