Can someone tell me the difference between the academic
version and professional version of frontpage. I'm
seeing the 'academic' version for sale on ebay.

Thanks!

They are identical except you must be eligible to buy the academic version and it can not be upgraded

| To my knowledge FrontPage 2003 came in only one version, I believe the "Acedemic" is related to educational institutes and
licensing.

Remarkably, Microsoft does not offer academic pricing for Frontpage to K-12
students: "Students of K-12 Educational Institutions are NOT Qualified
Educational Users."

What a clever way for Microsoft to encourage these kids to use DreamWeaver,
etc. (My daughter, now in 10th grade, has been required by her school to do
web page development since 7th grade. That's not unusual today.)
