accent automatically added

For some reason every time i type a word that has an f foolwed by an i the i
is being accented automatically. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Check your AutoCorrect list to see if there is an entry that would trigger
this. I can see having the fi ligature substituted for the two letters f and
i, but not an accented i.
